Amazon won’t host Wikileaks but will sell it

Amazing. First, Amazon kicks Wikileaks from their servers. After this, Amazon releases a Kindle version of the leaked US embassy cables. Apparently Amazon doesn’t mind making money out of the leaks, then.

This is especially ludicrous since Amazon stated that Wikileaks didn’t have the right to publish the cables. Need I say more?

(Oh well, let me just add that the ‘author’ of the cable book is one Heinz Duthel. His list of publications include titles like ‘Discovering Asian Women’, ‘Wherever you go there you are: Christian philosophy’, ‘Julian Assange. The whistleblower. Traitor or Hero?’ and ‘Exorcism and Kabbalah’. Clearly an author worthy of Amazon’s co-operation in Kindle sales.)

On a lighter note, why don’t you do the Wikileaks samba! It will be the hot new dance of the Christmas season, to be sure.
